CompputerTrainingUSA

Just wondering if anyone knew if this company was legit or not. Computer Training Center at http://www.computertrainingusa.org. A fee is paid whereby you get a manual that trains you how to type ads for various nationwide companies.

RE: Are they legit?

Hello!

All I can say is this, I purchased the course this past fall of 2006. I logged my work for 3 months. Devoting 3 hours per day Monday thru Sunday. I posted 2500 submissions per week, WITHOUT FAIL!
I have never made a dime. Not even a dime!

Once I began contacting the "author" of the manual for support and advice on what more I could be doing, she became abusive and insulting. I contacted clickbank for a refund, filed a complaint and I got my money back.

I would advise against this!

This is a SCAM! Run as fast as you can! Do not send them any money!

My sister ordered this trash and lost $99. Most of the data entry jobs that require you pay a fee are scams!

They take your money, you download the software, start working, send the work in and never hear from them again.  Ever!    Hope this helps.

RE: CompputerTrainingUSA

Thanks. I have already paid and have been trying to wok with them for over a month to get my money back. They actually threatend to sue me if I contacted my credit card company! I don't know if they can or not, but I have been unable to open any of their links and then they asked me for my SS#. I would love to file a complaint, get my money back and shut these guys down, but I dont know if there'll be any reprimand on their part. UGH....

It seems all the online DATA ENTRY Jobs are scams. I've been scammed over six time since 12/5/06 from companies claiming to offer work from home as data entry workers. All six programs techniques and methods were identically the same. pOSTING ADS THROUGH AND FOR CLICKBANK. I'm so angry!!!!!! Just this past Friday I was scammed again. I had completely felt this REBATE PROCESSOR JOB was a true. My question is why do you have to pay for every program that SUPPOSEDLY put you to work. Isn't it the other way around? You apply and this best candidate with qualifications received the position? What happened to the honor system. To much dishonesty on this internet. Just my feelings!!!!!!!!!! I have over 27yrs of Admin/Accounting exp. I pray to find a position to work from home thru SOHO.

RE: CompputerTrainingUSA/Internet Fraud Tips

I would highly recommend that you bookmark these websites and check out anything that sounds like it's too good to be true.

The FBI has a good site: http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/wahscams.htm
where you can also follow the link to Looks Too Good to be True http://www.lookstoogoodtobetrue.com/

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/invest/homewrk.htm

http://www.fraud.org/tips/internet/workathome.htm

STAY Away from websites that purport to give you a review of scams on the internet - these often will then "recommend" certain websites where, of course, they are affiliates of the website and make money if you decide to pay for the "recommended" whatevers that are being sold.

As always, the SOHO community seems to be very up-to-date on the latest "uglies" to come down the pike. My vote would be to check here, do a search, and if you don't find anything, ask the question in the forum before you "pay" for anything. If someone needs a job the last thing they want to do is watch their savings dwindle and have their hard earned money slide into someone else's pocket. Hope this helps!

Connie
