I did some research on google and found this typistjobs.net to be a scam. Don't waste your money. Google is very good for finding scams, just type in the name of the company and it brings up info on the company. If I were you I would stick with sohojobs.com, they are the most legitimate site I have found. Keep that chin up! You'll find something, just apply to everything you can.
I have not heard of this company before however, I went to their website and it sounds like a scam to me. . . it sounds just like so many of the other companies that I have wasted thousands of dollars on over the years.
Let's reflect for a moment on the difference between a dirty rotten "scam" and a no-good, time wasting opportunity.....
A scam is illegal. It's a trick, a gimmick to get your money and give you nothing in return. You know all of those fake check depositing jobs? Those are scams. Big dirty rotten ones.
Typistjobs.net - the website in question here - may or may not necessarily be a "scam". What they do might be legal in the 'book 'em Danno' since. Yes, the advertising is misleading. The pay that they claim to offer is an outright lie. The fact that it is even referred to as a "job" is a riot. And let's get this out of the way... the FTC has received hundreds of complaints and is currently investigating "typistjobs.net"
I've been doing this since 1997 so I've seen these things a thousand times. Trust me, it really doesn't matter if its a "scam" or not. I mean, they might slip through the cracks and be allowed to continue their game. Doesn't mean that you should sign up. Just means that they've found a way to laugh in the face of ethics.
Here's what this so-called "typist job" is all about..... basically they pay you to advertise or click on ads via Google or Clickbank or some other payout program. This is not "illegal" but it sure isn't a real typing job either. You can "sign up" for these "applications" all day. But you don't get paid unless someone clicks on your ad link and signs up for whatever you are promoting. Without a website how will you get people to click? According to the typistjobs website, you'll make $300.00 - $1000.00 per day. Excuse me while I double over in knee slapping laughter. Pleeeeze!
One such offer that they might ask you to sign up for is ClubMom - a nice little website for moms that offers information about everything from shopping to kids to working from home. You will earn money for everyone you get to sign up. But you do not need typistjobs to help you with that. Just go to ClubMom and sign up yourself. You'll get $1.00 for each new sign-up. To earn $300 a day, you'll need to sign up 300 people per day. So, I hope you have alot of friends... !
But here's my question. How the heck is promoting online ads a "typing job". What are you typing? Why do they not call it a "trying to get people to click on ads" job? I guess nobody would pay the $30.00 fee if they did. If you are really interested in this "line of work", you can find these programs on your own without paying a fee. You've probably seen all of those viagra ads in your email box? Same thing. You can go and sign up for the viagra offer anytime and then start spamming people hoping they will click on the ad so you can get paid. But please don't send them to SOHOjobs!
The bottom line, ALL of these typing job offers that you see are a waste of time. NONE of them are "real" jobs. Some of them are scams. Some of them are misleading. ALL of them are going to take your money and give you nothing in return.
Real work at home "typing" jobs are few. Most employers do not need to hire someone to just sit around and type all day. And there is no opportunity out there that is going to pay you $300 - $1000 per day that doesn't involve getting naked. I know that you REALLY want it to be true, but hoping doesn't make things happen or change the dynamics of the job market.
REAL home based typing and data entry jobs will be listed here in our forum for SOHOjobs subscribers when they are available. They will usually involve keying data, perhaps for an insurance company, or entering or editing data (for instance for a real estate agent). To qualify you will need experience and accurate/fast skills. Pay usually starts around $8 per hour. Maybe up to $12 or $15 per hour if you have other skills to offer (html, accounting, etc).
