Any News on these two companies?

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has heard anything about two companies that have contacted me for employment.  The first one is TooSpoiled.com, I have been contacted once telling me that after reviewing my resume they feel I would make a great Scout Manager.  I replied back and filled out their online application.  I received another e-mail today that it looks as though I qualify and had to answer a few more questions for a final review.  Just wondering if anyone has heard of this?

Next, this one I'm very nervous about.  Nottingham Textiles and Fabrics in the UK.  I was contacted by their CEO (???).  Asking me if I would be interested as their US contact and bookkeeper.  Basically their US Clients would notify me of products they are purchasing and send me a Money order or cashiers check, in return I would make a file for the client and keep 10% of what he sent me and wire the rest to the company in the UK.  The gentleman I spoke with said that a US Money order or casheirs check can take up to 20 days to clear in the UK and I could get it done in a matter of days.  The first check is to arrive at my house today.  Their website is ntextilesandfabrics.com.  Please let me know if this is legit or a scam.

Thanks, Amy

Toospoiled.com puts out ads for positions that are not available.  Everyone either qualifies for the scouting manager position or the recruiter.  If your good as sales it seems like an ok position to have on the side.

The other one is fishy.  Why would a company need a middle man(you) to help them pass money?  I've come across millions of these emails.  Be very careful.  It could be something illegal or they may be trying to get your info.

Good Luck!

P.S

Personally I would just stick with SOHO!

PLEASE!PLEASE! PLEASE! DON'T DO THE NOTTINGHAM ONE!!! It is most likely a scam.  You would take the money order or check to the bank and cash it and then a few days later after you have sent the money to them it would come back as no good, then you would be responsible for paying it back to the bank.  I almost got involved in one of these scams but thank goodness I found out in time. Since that time I have seen many people who have gotten caught up in it or something similar.  It is not worth it.

Thanks,

Carol

Thank you so much for the info, I figured the Nottingham was a scam.  Too Spoiled actually called me for an hour conference call and said they were sending me some business cards.  We'll see.  Thanks again for your replies.

nottingham is a scam. What it is, is someone has stolen money orders or cashiers checks, them would send them to you, once you notify them that you recieved the money, they will hound you to send the money thru western union right away, beacuse it will only take the bank a day or so to find out that they are no good and than contact you about it. when you send them the money western union they recieve the money and then they are long gone so that when you give the bank and police (FBI) there info they are not there anymore and the bank than holds you respondible for the whole amount.

I am new here also and this is great to know that this kind of business isn't legit.

Unfortunatly these scammers just dont enter the newspapers or email boxes they now have websites.

I was contacted by toospoiled.com for the customer service position and was contacted a second time saying I qualified to move further and had to go to their website and fill out some additional info. So now I am in the waiting game with them. Does anyone know anything more about this company?

Thanks,

Tia Parks
