This is the following email that I received supposedly from a recruiter of this company, but I was not able to locate any information on this company via internet...just wondering if this might be a scam? The position offered was for a home typing position....
This job includes 90% work through e-mail and about 10% through the Internet.
You will type out various assignments that are given to you .You will be taught how to do handle these situations in the future Training Materials (If you should choose to accept this position). Training IS required to begin working!
Customers will contact YOU directly via your e-mail inbox and they will also be paying you directly for your Data Entry services. I would suggest charging them what you feel your time is worth per application. Some orders take but a few minutes and others take more. It all just depends on the communication between you and the customer. On average, you will receive 15-35 e-mails per day.
I would recommend using a Paypal account for all transactions. Some money orders or checks maybe risky. Here is a secure link to set up your own Paypal account. Remember this is how you are paid.
My guess, this is a traditional data entry scam. But, you should request the "training materials" to learn more. Just don't give out any personal information and you should be fine.
Thanks for the reply. I would request the training materials, BUT there is supposedly a $20.00 charge for that before I receive the materials and Im suppose to pay by paypal. I emailed the woman and she would not give me a number to reach her, claiming she was just a recruiter and did not make calls ...her job was focused primarily on the net..I bet it is... I think I will steer clear of this..stick to something I know and that is soho..real jobs..real people..
